Fostering and Adoption
Fostering involves looking after children or young people in your own
home, whilst their family are unable to do so. The majority of children
return to their own families.
Adoption is a way of providing new families for children who cannot
be brought up by their birth parents. It is a legal process that involves
the transfer of all rights and responsibilities from the birth parents to
the adoptive parents.
