Science: In the Name of the Law
The Science Museum has arranged the following free events to celebrate Black History Month, which will take place in the Dana Centre. The Dana Centre and d.caf� are licensed premises open only to those aged 18 or over. Scientific evidence is being used increasingly in courts of law. Join John Thompson, famously cleared in the US on the basis of scientific data, and other experts and activists to debate exoneration, conviction, discrimination and the national DNA database. Other speakers include David Michael, founding member of the Metropolitan Police Service Black Police Association and Matilda MacAttram, Director, Black Mental Health UK.
