A celebration of books and reading for children during BHM.
Word Up! is the biggest celebration of books, reading and learning in the borough and one of the highlights of the year in Brent's libraries.The programme of events returns again this autumn offering author talks, drama, film, family activities, craft activities and much more. This year Word Up! features talks by top writers such as Tim Butcher, and Colin Grant as well as top entertainers such as Felix Dexter and Kwame M.A. McPherson and musicians such as saxophonist Lascelles James performing in Brent's libraries.
